Recently you aren't pretty

Speaking teacher came through again. In the last class she told the Italian girl in our class, "At the start of the 12 weeks you were pretty, but recently your appearance has been very bad. Why aren't you pretty anymore?"

Classes are over. I didn't study for exams and did well. What does that mean? Class was too easy. Just about everyone in our class passed. I was watching diplomas being handed out in another beginner class. I didn't see a single passing diploma. Very happy I was not in that class. People in the class were saying that nobody took class seriously and just mostly partied. (They hand out two diplomas: one for passing the test, the other for attending the classes.)
